Over the years, my wife and I have dealt with some very good Realtors, but Candace and Keith are by far the best we've ever had the pleasure to have worked with. They are both extremely knowledgeable of the market and were able to steer us in a direction that ending up netting us $100,000 more than we initially thought we could get.
Candace's attention to detail, ability to recommend upgrades without breaking the bank -- i.e. identifying what should be done to sell the house, vs. spending money needlessly on non- essential items -- and network of repair and design professionals made us feel extremely comfortable during what can be a stressful progress. In addition, her marketing techniques, which included staging, professional photos (including from a drone!), ad placements, etc., really put our house at the top of the list.
Her husband Keith is also a secret weapon -- he and his team go through the inside and outside of the house and make the repairs that are needed -- and that an inspector would call out. He provides his services as part of their offering for up to 50 hours, which saved us thousands of dollars if we had gone to a third party contractor/repair person. They took care of all of the inspections up front and did a proactive inspection so that the entire deal was "clean" for prospective buyers.
Last but not least, 10 days before closing, we had a major water issue when our washer leaked water all over the wood floors and under the house. They both jumped on it immediately and organized a team to take care of all of the damage, including drying the floors, replacing wet insulation, removing standing water under the house, preparing the wood floors, etc. We were able to close, and the buyers were very satisfied with the condition of the home.

Asking Candace and Keith Nordstrom to sell our house last spring was the best decision my husband and I could have made. Candace and Keith are unmatched in their high energy level, attention to detail, and understanding of the market. Because of their hard work and talent, we were able to sell our house after just 3 days on the market, on our terms, for about $150,000 more than we were expecting!
Candace and Keith did an amazing job of getting our house ready to sell. Keith was at our house every day for about two weeks, doing everything from fixing that light switch that had never worked properly, to rehanging the front door, to cleaning the gutters. There was no charge for any of his work! Next, Candace arranged for some touch-up paint and window cleaning that made the house shine. Finally, Candace’s colleague staged the house with great taste and Candace arranged a professional photo shoot. All in all, we spent about $3,000 to get the house ready to sell. The house was beautifully transformed, and all my husband and I had had to do was get out of the way.
Candace continued to amaze me with her ability to read the market. My husband and I had braced ourselves to lose between 10 and 20% of what we had paid for the house five years earlier, and we were anxious about selling it at all in time for our move. Candace convinced us to set the asking price substantially higher than we had originally planned, based on the new trends she was observing while we were getting it ready to sell. She confirmed her price point by inviting two trusted colleagues to tour our house and give her their opinions. Candace was that thorough.
When the house did go on the market in April 2013, the process was quick and painless. Candace helped us sort through multiple offers and negotiated an extra month for us to rent back our house, among other perks.

When we found out that we were expecting, we began to search for a home that could accommodate our family. After looking at a number of properties in Marin, we picked one we wanted to see - and met Candace. She was great from the very start - friendly and trustworthy, helping us understand what to look for, what the lingo really meant, and how to examine a property. This was our first ever home purchase, and we were nervous. After a few trips across the bridge from the city, we were beginning to feel that we'd have to settle for a condo.
